Starte moter / Flywheel lubrication
Here is a basic question regarding a 427 Genesis SO. This is my first build, so I need an answer to a simple question.
Should one grease the flywheel gear teeth / starter motor gear? If yes, should one use the usual bearing grease? If yes, should the lubricant, presumably grease, be used very sparingly to minimize the risk of contaminating the pressure plate / clutch / flywheel?
I have finished assembling the drive train and it occurred to me that the flywheel / starter gear were "dry". Presumably if grease is necessary one could pop off the starter and grease the flywheel without too much difficulty.
Thanks
