Default Engine going to Dyno on Friday

Guys after a lot of work with my engine builder for the past year, my 427 NOS block (a service block I picked up) now is chuck full of new parts and is finally going to be dyno'd this friday.

Although I have a great relationship with my engine builder and he has a great reputation, is there anything I should look for when I go to see the engine dyno? Is there any questions I should ask. Per the builder, it will be an all day event, spending the morning getting it all hooked up..then spending most of the afternoon first with break in, then with full throttle pulls, adjustments etc.

Any comments would be apprecaited.

Good luck.
Who built it?
What's in it?
If you post the details of the build you can make this thread guessing game on the numbers.
Are you going to be there?

1. I live in Colorado and had a local company do the build.
2. I guess I will have to get more details but in essence it is a standard bore 427 SO service block with blue thunder heads that have been ported(was told 5 angle valve job)
3. yes...i will plan on attending.

Cross your fingers and toes and hope and pray you DO NOT hear a very loud boom the first full on dyno pull.....

Although I have faith in my motor, tried to use all the right parts and pieces, I still worried when the first good pull was made, after 12 pulls, all was well and I breathed a big sigh of relief............

Serouisly, I would suggest following the engine builders directions for break-in and the dyno session afterwards.............

Good luck and I hope you get the numbers your looking for........

David
