Default Dyno numbers

What do you guys think of the dyno sheet (in my gallery)?
Is the a/f mix rich?

doesn't show what is below 4400 but 11.8 could be little rich. idle at 13.5 with richer to mbt at 12.5 usually 5000 to 5500 then slight lean out again maybe.

should be someone with a lot more experience chime in.

If you brought the A/F to 13.1, assuming the A/F probe's in the tailpipe, you could probably bump the 580 to around 600, maybe. 13.1 at the pipe is usually around 12.8 at the motor/installed bung (not too sure if this'll apply to the Cobra' exhaust though??). Well ... anyway, that would give you a little more "bragging rights", which I sense you would like a little more of. Your A/F is not rich, just a good safe A/F that sacrifices a minute, undetectable amount of horse power in favor of building you an engine that will "safely" (at least A/F wise ) obliterate the tires at will.

Default Brand new motor

Hi-Tech You have a brand new motor that is just Dynoed and has breakin time. Everything is still tight. But a couple of thousand miles on it first, then get a performance check done on a chassic dyno. KC Is keeping the motor a little rich in the beginning, all builders do this. It protects the motor. After breakin, about 5,000 miles then you can lean on it and up the A/F to 12.5-12.7 for max torque or 12.8-13.2 for max HP. Every motor is different and responses to different timing and jetting. Your side pipes are also costing you from 15- 40 HP with back pressure depending on who built the pipes and what mufflers are inside the cases. The numbers are fine, just respect the car and happy miles. Rick L. one side note you might want to put ear plugs in before the drives. side pipes are loud and drone. The main problem is getting the smile off your face.
