Default Gas Cap Base Adapter

First of all, I want to thank you for the great customer service I have received from Finish Line. I have ordered a number of parts for my Cobra from you & am very pleased with your company & your products.

I have a standard Cobra gas cap purchased from another Cobra parts vendor some time ago & want to replace the gas cap base adapter. My present gas cap base adapter is for a 1 1/2" filler hose & I need one with a 2" OD filler hose neck.

I see on your website that you offer the standard gas cap adapter for a 2" OD filler hose neck that you sell for $35.00. Will my gas cap screw onto your standard base or are the threads different? In the picture on your website, it appears the threads are the same as mine.

Thanks,
Randy

Bob, I decided to just order the new cap from Finish Line & not take the chance of putting different caps together. Got the new cap Thursday & got it installed.

Now............. I need to sell the one I bought from Shell Valley.
