Fuel injection fuel pump system / spf / efi
Greetings, -- I was going to post this over on the SPF section, but this is more of a generic query than a SPF specific query.
Who here has a fuel-injected SPF >?
I have 4600 miles on my SPF with EFI and I have been a happy camper with only a few frustrations. --one of which is lower fuel level performance. It seems anything below 1/2 a tank (indicated) seems to not get the fuel pressure (seemingly , as there is no FPG in the dash) of a full tank.
I wanted to get an idea of fuel pump strategies and tubing schematics to see if I am missing something.
Question - does anyone have a picture of the generic fuel pickup in the SPF tank >?
Does anyone here use a low pressure pump to feed an accumulator canister prior to a high-speed pump. ( thinking of this as a solution, prior to ripping out tank and modding)
Thoughts, suggestions, drawings welcome.
