Terry....I will measure when I get home tonight and reply....if you have a potential solution I be most appreciative..

Kramer:

I don't know if it's a solution or not -

My horns are 3 1/16" outside-to-outside. I added a grommet to increase the size (better fit for the filter) up to 3 1/4" o-to-o. Still a bit loose. I think the best, snug fit would be a horn size of about 3 1/2+."

Now, depending on your size ..........................

Terry.....measured the outside to outside diameter of the stacks.....four and a quarter inches. I spend the day looking around at different filters. I am thinking about using some smaller auto filters and fabricating brackets with clips that will mount to the air horns....Don't know if the measurements help but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Most can tell I'm not a tech person and I don't know how to post pictures but there is a picture of my car and a kroyer engine with the alum plate ness to mount if you go to finish line motorsports las vegas and click on comp car and then go to blue (here). Picture will come up, twm is doing the same thing I'm told. Sorry for choppy post, at least it matches the rest

Thanks guys...don't know when but I checked the site out before. I am really hoping to find some simple solution with one filter per horn, but if not I may to do something similar.

Finishline is who did mine. If you take the tops of the filters off, that is exactly how mine looks. I simply bought another set of horns and had them polished for show!

flared top horn screen filters

Kramer, Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Here are a couple of screen options that will keep the engine wrecking stuff from getting sucked in. Unlike the Weber type screens that use up 80 to 100 hp, the loss with these is negligible. I can get these for you without taking your firstborn. Hope this helps
