Has anyone decided to put a defroster on their car? I was looking at a couple of pictures of original Cobras and they have chrome vents up by the windshield for a defroster.

We went with MGB heater box and controls these cars were made for this setup.Bought ours at a specialty salvage yard cheap cheap.Same with the windshiled wipers also MGB.
Not hard to do with windshield and dash out of the way.

As memory serves me look at the 70's vintage MGB's.Take a look at where the battery would sit that shelf is exactly where the blower housing sets, the upper round portion sets up under the fender perfectly.

Not specifically of the defrost.It is supposed to be near 50 degrees tommorrow maybe I'll take a walk out to where the car is stored.I do have a picture of the engine bay not much to see there.

Not of the defrost specifically,there's a picture in the gallery of the engine bay but all you can see is the top of the blower housing.It is supposed to be near 50 degrees tommorrow maybe I'll take a walk out to where the car is stored.

I just picked up a heater box with vents for $40. The guy told me it fits 1962-1980

Nice,the boss grabbed me and needed a fillin yesterday hard to pass up the OT.Today of course is below freezing.
I plumbed in a shutoff valve in the heater hose,in the heat of the summer you will not want water flowing through the core.
