Hello Guys!
Can anyone provide an update as to WCC ownership?, Is it still Vern or is it Painter? I tried before but Painter never responded. I am getting a bit nervous about this lack of clarification, there is no doubt that this has an impact on the saleability and price of our cars...

I have no information for you on WCC etc... But, Vern told me once that he was going to raise the kit price to $40K and that would increase the value of your car. I wondered about that. Normally, you have to have someone who wants to pay that for it to be worth it. Raising the price does not increase saleability. I too wonder how, when no one can even buy one, what that does to the value of a finished, good running car. Does the scarcity affect value? It really depends on the average auction price. I don't think there is a huge number of these seen at auction. I think it's what ever you can get someone to think it's worth. Saleability and value do not necessarily go hand in hand. Which are you concerned about? Being able to get rid of it for a good price? or do you want to buy another one and not pay a lot? For me, my car is a keeper. I'm not interested in selling it, and I don't think about it.

I hear you man, there is one right now in Cobra Country in the west coast of the US for $48K OBO with a 460 really nice with 2 sets of wheels. I just feel that it would be nice to have a source for parts and or accessories. I have been trying to get the SS door sills to no avail. I don't want to sell it either. I thought about a Ferrari Testarossa but delinf with Ferrari is as bad as dealing with Vern ;-((. I have a Ferrari dealer near me and they have a 2nd floor for storage of customers cars that only take them out once in a blue. THat is not my idea of fun. So the Cobra stays with us. It is like a member of the family. Thanks for the update and stay well my friend.
