Default Left out an important thing with color

Dwight Seeing this car on the road, Beening 40" high is nothing. In the old days when guyed raced these cars, they needed to add bright colors to the nose to see them. Worst color is a dark gray. On the track they blend into the track unless running orange tape of lights. The pros have this problem, think about the people of the road with less smarts. Summer time, windows up, ac on, music going, and some dope cuts you off or a tractor trailer cuts you off, road pizza. I saw an accident in 73 with my parents on route 18 in town. A women driving a 68 vette she just got for her son and was driving home. Person pulled out on the highway and cut off the tractor trailer. He went into the fast lane and ran her over, she came out the other side. Only damage to the car was windshield frame and drivers seat. Everybody stopped to help. Tractor driver said he never saw the car in the left lane or would have hit the car coming out in front of him. Speed on the road is only 50 mph. The vette was yellow with blackin out hood and truck lid. Every body lived, that was good. I have seen tracks make guys add some tape to the noses of cars to help better see them when racing and IMO it helps. On the street is a different thing. I still like an all black GT with 18-19" wheels. Rick L. Ps The car was in ERA booth 2 years ago. I think a Doc owns it in VA. Will see if I can get a picture or find out who owns it, it might be on the forum.
