Default Silver or tumble polished?

SILVER OR TUMBLE POLISHED?

Buying a new 850 cfm Holley to replace my FAST EFI. I've been out of the carb scene for a few decades. Will the silver finish hold up for a few years or should I go with the tumbled polished Holley?

Both of the newer silver finishes are ok for longevity, the plain silver stays closer to original with little to no attention.
The tumbled finish can tarnish slightly, but wipe over with a soft cloth will keep it's shine.

Choice of colour will depend on personal preference, and what works with your engine bay.

I personally prefer the hard core grey bowls and main body of the XP series.

Match that with black billet throttle body and metering blocks.

I build my own combos from all new parts including Rapid Jet metering blocks.
