Gasoline Smell

The 450 for low speed and the 600 for high revs- makes sense, right?


Any carbureted car I've owned usually has some gas smell to it from the carb vents.


And with the old cobra or motorcycles, my wife always knew if I took them out, without catalytics, you get that lovely 70s smell I remember

It doesn't work like that in dual quad setups, they need to be the same carb, with the same calibration.

I was kidding I'd imagine if you did that, one end would run lean and the other rich, or it would do other odd things through the RPM range.

I'm glad you were just kidding Dave.

One could get this to work, but the jetting sizes would be different, since the venturi sizes are different between a 450/465 and a 600.
