I'm not sure what you mean by forward mount vs. the rear mount shifter.
So I sent some pictures and measurements. Ctr to Ctr of the adjustment as the assembly came off the car. 1st rod was adjusted to 14.75". 2nd rod was 9.75" and 3rd rod was 9.625".

That is a Hurst shifter. Our rods won't work with it. Our rods work with the original shift box.

I don't sleep much. I am trying to clean out the shop so we can start on a new project  I am VERY excited about it.
