Which Quicktime to use on Kirkham?

Ordering my Quicktime from Brent for my Kirkham build and don't know which bellhousing to get. Brent says with my trans (3550 TKO) I'll need the toploader length unit and a shortened input shaft, as the regular length bellhousing for the standard length input shaft won't clear the interior panels or something like that.

I thought it would be the std. 3550 bell - Quicktime RM-6056-SFI - Ford FE to TKO/Richmond,

Should it be this? Quicktime RM-6057-SFI - Ford FE to Toploader/Jerico/Short TKO

I trust what Brent is saying, just looking to confirm from those in the know...

Thanks,
Racer_X

P.S.
Also looking for the billet clutch arm that Resto is using on the Ironman build along with the slave cyl. setup and bracket, if anyone can point me in the right direction.

That clutch fork and slave cylinder look like the ones I saw at the Kirkham open house.
see Kirkham Motorsports Annual Open House 19 Feb 2011 last picture.

		Here ya go:
KMS FAQ
Straight from the horse's mouth.

You need an RM-6057 or RM-6057-SFI and if you use a TKO or 3550, it has to use the short input shaft to work with that bell.

If I remember correctly, the transmission crossmember requires the shorter setup to be used. I could be wrong...

But I know that when I supply drivetrain parts to the Kirkhams, it has to be the short bellhousing & short input shaft setup.

I don't know if this helps or not, but I have a 427w with a tko600 for my 289 fia car. It requires the toploader bellhousing and shortened input shaft in order to fit. I would go with what Brent says. Also, Kirkham sells the slave set up. You might want to call Thomas and run these questions by him.

Or you might be able to put in a T56 magnum with some work -- high speed low RPM cruising is awesome.

also it wont shift like a truck,

The TKO's don't shift bad at all after they're broken in....especially with an aftermarket shifter. High rpms is where they lag behind. However, the T-56 isn't a shiner in that area either.

Coupling that with 20 extra pounds of weight, several inches more of length, several more inches of girth, and about $500 more, that extra gear just doesn't sound appealing to me.....LOL

Without cutting the rear cross member in the frame the T-56 will not fit.
