WTB Kirkham 427 Street
I want to buy a used Kirkham 427 Street car (no sidepipes, scoop or hood). I understand these are few and far between, but if anyone has one they are interested in selling, please send me an pm. I am a serious buyer and won't waste your time. Thank you.

Great choice!
The undercar exhaust will allow for nice conversation while driving. Pipes do get old........... |
1985 CCX,
The pipes get old or we get old? :p Sinovac, A search using Kirkham, street, undercar, etc will yield you at least one owner. ;) Maybe a long shot but worth a try. |
Thank you for the responses. I meant to say no sidepipes, scoop or hoop in my original post. I do want a hood :). I will try a search as suggested.

You couldn't beat this one by Mike Wagner.

You might want to check with Mike Wagner his son. He comes here occasionally. As of October 2011, they had a street 427 with a SB in it available. Check this thread:

Rodknock,
That car has been sold too. Thanks for the link. |
I saw that silver street version when Mike had it at Road America, it was beautiful.

Why not just order a brand new one from Kirkham. Last time I asked, it was about a 4-month wait or so. They can make or supply all the interior and exterior trim of a 427 street Cobra.
Of course, the Sunbursts are always an issue, unless the doctor is still making them for about $800-$1,000 a pop. |
Originals can be had at that price. ;)

Thanks everyone for the messages and leads. I bought a car from a member here-Saltytri. A true gentleman. We had a very nice visit when I looked at the car in Oregon. I've had it now for about 1 week and can say its the most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels. I really like the fact that it is exciting to drive even at slow speeds, unlike my other cars. I'm sorry I waited as long as I did to get a Kirkham.

BTW, post some pictures will ya? Threads are always made better by incorporating pictures, except in the case(s) of Patrick's postings. Then all we get are his hands and scruffy dog. :p |
It has a stroked 302 from Keith Craft. Plenty of power and not too nose heavy.

Pictures, pictures........

The little Brit car is looking good with the Brit bike next to it.

Thank you. At first I didn't think I would like the polished aluminum, but now I wouldn't have it any other way.
|
F$ck me, I think I'm in love, that's beautiful!
Regards. |
Thank you. I'm really surprised how few replicas exist in the "street" configuration given how beautiful they are. The lines of the car are wonderful.
