OK done reading, didn't take long. I find it poor at best for content at this point. Format good, content THIN. Seems no one else wants to say it.
Anyone worth a salt will read build threads here and on other sites that have more value. If you can't install a hood prop rod, you shouldn't be on the receiving end of a Kirkham in a box.
David, nice first attempt. Let me know when version 2.0 comes out.

Hey David,
Some dimensions on the cutouts necessary for the Lakewood bellhousing would be benefical to me. I did the bottom trim, but I understand there is another trim required under the starter bump.

For the weatherstripping piece, is adhesive needed?
Scott's comments above are 100% in synch with mine. You need to also address your current base of customers. I myself have decided the current fuel pump and filter in the trunk needs re-working, documentation for existing owners who want to "improve" the car would be benenficial for the 400+ cars theoretically out there.

David,
Great start on the assembly manual. I'm happy to see it coming together.
The hood handles section has a photo of a 6 point harness in it.

Grumpy,
The format will be easily printable in its final form. Anyone who wants a book will be able to just hit print.
Bert,
I am glad to hear you are finally getting the car on the ground. We want to see some pictures!
Let us know if we can help in any way.
TC,
Good comments! I really appreciate them. We are working on the content in the manual and it will increase with time. One example of how complete we want to make the manual is the prop rod. Some people pull the prop rod out of the box and don't know where it goes so we are showing them where it goes. We want them to immediately see the photos and know exactly where to look for the installation.
Eventually, we want the manual to show everything down to the last nut, bolt, and screw so anyone can put one together.
Almost all of the weather stripping we have used has the adhesive already on it. Some of our early cars had weather stripping that had to be glued down like the originals, but we found that to be too messy and customers preferred the adhesive backed weather stripping.
On our current cars we fully assemble into rollers, we place the fuel pump down by the differential and out of the trunk area. We will post photos of our new set up as soon as possible. We are working on posting pictures for other areas as we get questions from current customers or as we work through the car. Your comments are appreciated.
Jeff, Kris,
I think we just fixed the photo problems. Thank you very much!
David

Thanks, Kris & Jeff. Fixed 'em both. As the html wrangler, I appreciate every mistake caught -- been playing with 'puters waaaaay too long to get upset at error notices.

Note to Steve K... and Sal
..as you can see in Sal's post... forum software using Tags like that.. appears to have trouble with a URL that contains parentheses.
If you paste that URL into a browser, it works fine... the IMG tag code in the forum may not be able to process it though.
Feel like changing all the new file names, Steve? :-)

text link to (picture in parenthesis)
Seems to work with Mozilla Firefox 1.0. I'll submit this and give it a whirl with IE6.0

So far I can't duplicate the problem. I started a new thread.
Anybody having problems with posting parenthesis, please tell me about it on the new thread. -- thanks.

Looks great from here.
Suggestion on the carpet install: Instead of using red use white. When I install the carpet I plan on printing this out and using it in the garage. The red will not show up on the b/w printout. These instructions came out just in time.
Can you do the "How to sand/polish your car" next? The pics of the tsunami were very informative.
Thanks
Ed
