If you really want to get fancy...... we ran the T/O bearing and the Transmission cooler pump in a 16"long bell housing......

That way you could just remove the Weisman Transmission..... or the motor and the bell housing stayed in the chassis all of the time...

Input shaft was 16" long....

Morris,

You are hard core!

I haven't needed to run a tranny cooler for any of the speeds I am capable of!

I'll let you know when the loot shows up.

Scott (Coyled)

How many washers did you stack to achieve your clutch fork repositioning? Seems like I've needed to do something like this all along but never really knew the solution.

I too have had problems with my clutch. I have a 460 and a lakewood bellhousing. I had an internal throwout and it was a nightmare when it failed. So I went to an external unit. Now I feel that I dont have enough throw to fully disengage the clutch, which makes shifting difficult. When I changed my clutch I had the flywheel turned and I am wondering if this throws off the whole system, what I mean is, does the pivot need to be shimmed so it is closer to the flywheel, making up for the surface area turned off the flywheel?

Also I have an adjustment rod in my footbox that allows me to push my foot down farther...which is a big help.

Dreamer,

I don't have a spare slave cylinder (I used a BMW unit). But, I do have an extra 1" master cylinder, if you want to go that way?
