HOw many polished out Kirkham 427 body styles have been sold?

I ran across Mr. Tom Kirkham at the Mini Nats driving a very stunning (and blinding in the sun)
polished out 427 body style car.
I forgot how many he said he sold of the big block body style, was it 125? Does that sound right?
Does anyone know if it takes a lot of maintenance to keep them shiny?
Is the body on his cars thicker than that used on the original Cobras?
(the originals used to get "road rash" on the tops of the fenders from gravel being thrown up by the tires)
What's the average price they go for with a 427 FE motor ready to run
with the alloy body?
