Must be double-exposed pics...no sane enthusiast would bore extra holes into that beeee-autiful Kirkham coachwork.

Dual roll bars tend to look funny on anybody else's car but mine.

I think it's a combination of the black roll bars with the black padding and the black sidepipes that make mine look so right.

That Kirkham is just a roller (beautiful) so you will need a bit more $
to complete it.

Unless you and your passenger were almost killed in a single roll bar car. Then you tend to want something a little better as far as protection when you build your next one.

I seem to bang my head in to them almost as often as I fry the back of my left ankle. Hmmm... maybe head trauma explains my peculiarities.

Well, the car is located in Ogden, UT, so you could send it back to the Kirkhams and have them "fix" it.

Needling people is half the fun of this forum. And I certainly dish out my share of it (although I try and keep it under control). I generally know I've crossed the line when I get a note from Computerworks that, while not being impolite, has an underlying tone that whispers "look, the washing machine broke this afternoon and now one of the kids just threw up on the new couch, so I really don't need this from you tonight...."

Yes, the humor gets me through reading another "real versus replica", "small block versus big block", "single roll bar versus dual roll bar", and the "Hey, I'm a Newbie here, which Cobra is best?" threads.

Edit: Oh and the latest...the "my Center Arm Rest is better than yours."

I did the dual roll bars as well. It just looks good to me.

I find nothing wrong with 2 roll bars. I enjoy my kirkham from the driver’s seat and respect the safety of my passengers. Especially my wife and kids. My roll bars seem to be a lot lower then the ebay kirkham because of my Lemans Hardtop. Some people seem to have more fun picking apart other cobras then enjoying them. Life is way to short!!!!!

I'm not sure who your message was directed to, but if was me, then my answer is as follows:

1. I try to post when there's a Kirkham on eBay, and
2. You missed my humor, as well as some others, that was directed towards Patrick, since he sometimes has been known to direct a barb or two towards the FFR crowd.

By the way, safety is a relative term. A modern car with bumpers, side impact protection, ABS, traction control, PB, PS, and numerous airbags placed throughout the cabin is much more safe.
