It is a nice drive from Bama Will. Good distance for a single day trip. At least when I drove from Columbus to Gadsden and back it was.

Will, we convoy to Ohio on I-65 with a small group. This year I think we will have 6 or 8 Cobras, a couple on trailers. We'll travel about one and half hours between breaks, no hurry. We do leave at night ( 10:00- 11:00 pm ) cooler, less traffic, few wrecks and no road work. Mike Lainhart has a large trailer and Bobby Bates has a open car hauler. If someone breaks down and we can not fix it, we just load it up and go. We have never had to load one on the trip up or back. We have rooms at the Hampton but the other two motels are 100 yards away.
This will be my 5th year and some of the guys have gone 4 years. We know all the good stops on the way.
Come join us, you will have fun, with or with out a Cobra.

Mike,
I agree--the OCC guys have outdone themselves again. Looking forward to seeing you and Frank and everyone this June. I'm getting ready to register as soon as the site is up and I'm saving my pennies to buy some raffle tickets.

Will Butterwort,
most of the action will be around the three motel in Columbus. Saturday from 9 till 4 pm we will be on Main Street in London. But Thursday, Friday and Sunday all the actions is in Columbus. Everything starts at the three motels, and the tailgate party goes till midnight. We have to stop doing burn outs in front of the Hampton about 8 pm so people can get some sleep. If you stay in London you could miss 80 % of the fun. Or you will have to drive to Columbus everyday. The police dept will watch our Cobras at night so we don't have to worry ( as much ). People drive from all over to the motels to see all the Cobras in the parking lots. It's like a live moving car show. Cobras coming and going all the time.
Just something to think about.
Dwight

Dwight, let him know that after the "amateurs" quit at midnight to stop by the Windy City Cobra Club party to see the sun rise with plenty of refreshments all night long!

thought all would be in london, first i,ve heard about columbus area, how far to columbus from london? Not a problem, if our butts can hold out for the trip from alabama, surely can skip to there. Is january rainy mess here in alabama, no sunshine for week and not forecast to see sun for another one, pineapple express pouring in from pacific/mexico se usa.Snakes in stable some small work to do, install radiator, lower airfilter on my car, have two in family to keep running now.Think I will take a pine top and a bucket of s--t and run this nasty weather off.Will-alabama

I admire your courage-driving from AL. London is only 30 miles from Columbus so another 30 mi shouldn't be all that bad. Look forward to meeting you and have a safe trip. At least you don't have snow like us.
