Default Servicing 4000 Series in Westchester County NY

Looking for some guidance for a place to service my 4000 Series. Having clutch issue with air in system with some other items such as Radiator fan and speedo to be serviced as well. Car built by HRE in Freeport but Bill presently unavailable. If you have a recommendation, please advise.

Thanks

You're being too restrictive. You don't need a Cobra specialist. You need a clutch guy. That opens up the possibilities but you're still going to have to search for an old guy that understands 60's power trains.

The other things aren't Cobra specific either.

Do you have a master/slave or a Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing (HTOB) configuration? The HTOB in my car was extremely sensitive to alignment and after two rebuild jobs and almost immediate failures on the cylinders which in a HTOB means tearing into the bell housing I switched to a traditional master/slave config.

I had heard that Billy at HRE had some health concerns. Sorry to hear that. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
