Got out on Saturday, I always like to circulate the fluids in the winter when we get a nice day.
Covered the oil cooler and the bottom third of the radiator. Is it me, or do engines make just a little more HP in the cold air?

I was out 4 hours a week ago Sunday. Then the prior week we had a couple of days where I was following the geese ! If it's a winter 50 I will roll it out. |

I've been out, 45 degrees is about my limit.....and even if it feels warm enough for a ride...I drive over the Captree Bridge and realize what the hell was I thinking....was at Captree on Sunday two weeks ago with the Cobra...not that large of a crowd....now I know why...the food concession is closed until spring. |

40 degrees is my limit, but not to go all the way to Captree. Looks like rain the next few days, but yeah, I'm really getting the winter blues!!!

I did the run to Captree on a cold windy day last year - going over the bridge the crosswind was stronger than my forward speed and pushed me all over the road – the drop in temperature from inland heading to the ocean must have been all of 15 degrees – the things a guy will do for a fun ride!

 Nick
With the temps in the mid 20's now, I will not have to worry about driving over the bridge !!!! Hopefully...we'll be back in the cars by mid march

I was out this past Sat as well. It's been about 6 weeks since my last start up so I wanted to get it up to temp and 'stretch it out' a bit. Lately the temp has been OK, it's just all this darn rain now!! Maybe this weekend it will be nice enough.

I just can't wait to get behind the wheel again! These cars are Sooooooo much fun to drive. And luckily the wife loves it too. She is a really good sport and only complains when I blow by something she wants a picture of. LOL |

Being that I am in the banana belt of Alberta, Canada. I have been out three times in about 45F temp. Just hate all the sand/gravel on the roads.Take care all

Man, that was one long winter.
Temps reached the mid 50's during one cold spell.

We all hunkered down till winter passed.

 Took about a week.

 All back to normal now!

For some reason 42 degrees is my limit. I justify it by thinking, well...its no worse than riding a snow mobile. I have heat!!
If I see a motorcycle pass by, it usually moitvates me to take her out. I am really getting the itch now.

I was out 5-6 times this winter the last being about 10 days ago when my carb started acting up. Just got it back from Allstate. Despite using Stabil it accumulated gummy deposits in the metering block. I hear the bikes out there too. Re-install the carb, new wires, plugs, cap, rotor and I'm hoping to meet you guys somewhere soon ! Yahoo!

I took a ride to captree today (in the Mustang ) and there was quite the crowd....I was going to take the Cobra for a quick drive this afternoon, but opted to fly the RC airplanes instead. Maybe when it hit's the 50's

Almost went for it today but the temp was just a little cool in the mid 40's but the bright sunlight did feel good. I keep looking at the weather on line - the only time it gets above 50 it's raining - need some road time - soon.

I was out east this weekend and changed the oils and filters on the Cobra and the Mini Cooper S. Of course, I had to warm up the oil to drain it, and also after the change to look for leaks. Nice day to check the beaches Easter Sunday and today, Monday. Quite a bit of erosion on the South side of the Peconic.
I used Mobil1 0W40 on the Cobra and Castrol 10W40 on the Mini. I'm ready...

Ray:Assuming you're driving each vehicle the same amount of miles, you're averaging about 16 MPG.
