A Prayer for Obama

With Obama having suffered one failure after another for almost 9 months now.
I think a little Prayer for our President is in order.

Our President who art in the White House
Hope and Change is thou name
Thy taxes come
Thy will be done
In America as it is in Russia
Give us this day our daily press conference
And take from the rich for they have too much
Lead us not to the constitution
But deliver us from Capitalism
For thine is the restructuring
To spread the wealth around
Czars aiding you along the way
Yes we can

Barrak Hussein Obama
Some say he is the great Messiah,
The world uniting kind.
Actually he is neither,
He's just another ,legend in own mind!

The thing that really rankles me,
Is how he apolgizes, for our proud history.
Bowing to foreign heads of states,
It makes me wonder, is it the USA he hates?

In the belief that Freedom of Speech is still legal in America...Here goes

Since the ban for the mention of GOD in our public schools

We can be assurred the shootings will cease now that our children are singing praises to the new Annoited One :JEKYLHYDE:eek:

The administration was quite perceptive to use the same words right out of Christian Hymnals ie: "Red or Yellow Black and White" among others

Wonder if any copy right laws were trampled for the benefit for the common good? %/

Still he wonders why photos of his face sport Hitler style mustache  And others portray the Hammer & Sickle on his shirt sleeve.

Our Country can rest in the hope that soon we will all be as safe as Chicago where he began his Community Organizing Career. :JEKYLHYDE

After all why should we enjoy the prosperity of Capitalism just because our Forefathers instituted that Government and defended it ever since?

You'd think living the American Dream in the White House would have ignited a spark in his consciousness for what this Country stands. Either he assumes his ascension is Divine Right taken for granted...or the goal is to further elevate the Elitist heirarchy by lowering the wealth of the populous.

I suppose our concerns are less dangerous than those of the Minute Men who conspired to shape our Country.:MECOOL::cool:

At my age the concern is for our youth who are the future. Have they been taught US History and the Constitution that protects our freedoms? Are they too pre-occupied to understand what they are in jeapordy of losing?

Sometimes you don't know what you got till you lose it. **)**)**)

A new poll says that 62% of Americans BELIEVE their children will be worse off than we are. 18% are not sure and ONLY 20% believe their children well be better off!

rollinggeorge 10-04-2009 11:02 AM

Hopefully the next poll will show greater dissatisfaction :mad::mad:

Put away the Kool Aid and smell the coffee America!!:MECOOL::)

I pray that our President finds a new job, one that he can handle, one where he can be on TV everyday, one that he can be as "cool" as he thinks he is........

"Hi, this is Barry and I want to tell you about SHAMWOW! SHAMWOW IS WHAT AMERICA IS ALL ABOUT!"

They are right...if George Bush had set out to destroy America he could not have done a much better job...he failed to protect the country...destroyed the economy... exhausted the military in foolish wars....destroyed the industrial base...failed to protect the borders...ignored the Constitution (that he took a oath to protect)... exploded the size of government...etc...etc....now perhaps even the Great One will not be able to turn it around...at least in 8 months....but there is hope....I saw/heard some real bright people this morning on TV...Susan Rice...General Jones....instead of listening to a "higher power" it appears we are actually determining some facts and making rational decisions...a new approach..

Of course, when you have zip to say, BLAME BUSH. Don't know how many times I have to say it, Bush WAS bad. Had he NOT been bad, obummer would not be president. BHO is MUCH worse! This wholly incompetent boob, couldn't fix a hangnail in 80 years. He and his gaggle of corrupt crooks ONLY know Chicago payola tactics. None of them have a clue about world events or history. And they obviously know nothing about getting things done here either. BHO's personal history in Government is MARKED by lack of any bills passed, in State or Federal Gov. He has done nothing for a career. But he can bullsh!t with the best of all time. But we need SUBSTANCE, not anti-American dreams and bull.

You know it was Cheney whom I had the biggest problem with. That guy remains scary!

I think he probably did what he thought needed to be done...You can disagree with him (I do), but I don't doubt his motives...you can bet I will be reading his book...I understand Palin's book will not include the crayon's...

Excaliber 10-04-2009 03:21 PM

No doubt Cheney was VERY sincere-ly mistaken.

Cheney may be thought of as Darth Vader...but, I gotta tell ya, I for one am glad he was there when we needed him.

Bull****. He protected this country after a devastating blow that was devised, planned, and trained for under the Clinton administration. He held the economy together during a time after 9/11 when things could have gone to hell, the industrial base was going to hell before he got there due to previous administrations (See Clinton's 2000 China trade bill), he didn't go half as far as Roosevelt/Truman did with suspension of habeus corpus, internment of the Japanese, and internment of 200,000 German sympathizers after WWII, and exploded the government (check out what BO has done). I do fault him on border protection and not pursuing the war more diligently.

Please offer something that has a basis in fact. From what you've served up here you are either too young to remember or too blind to see.

You have got your antiseptic shorts all in a bunch !!! I don't have time for this crap...but here are a couple facts for you...During the Clinton Administration there was not only peace and prosperity...there was a BUDGET SURPLUS...welfare reform...full employment...no inflation....Strong Dollar...etc... Bush was a empty suit, if you can give him credit for not interning all the Arabs or Muslims in America, give Bill some credit for taking care of the interns.... I think it is telling that not a single member of the Bush Adminstration has written a book that defends him....not even the freaking (kill everyone) NeoCons and I suspect Cheney's book will not help his cause. At least his loony tunes idea of turning the SS account over to Wall Street got laughted off the stage, thank god....well, anyway, in closing, I thought Clinton was the greatest political mind of the last 50 years but he got beat by a skinny black kid with no experience and a very strange name off the streets of the intercity....the ONE we have been waiting for....and some people just can't deal with it...bye...

BeanCounter 10-04-2009 06:43 PM

There was a budget surplus thanks to a Republican congress AND Bill Clinton, although the President has nothing to do concerning appropriating money (Obama can't even control it as the messenger from God). As far as peace goes tell that to the aspirin factory and Qadaffi's daughter. As far as the skinny black kid being "the One" I'll agree with you there, it's just "the One" what. That's what you can't deal with. You'll eat your words before it's over.

Excaliber 10-04-2009 06:44 PM

You know a post doesn't have to take a nasty turn and be personally insulting to someone. If you don't agree, just state your opinion, no need to pick a fight over it.

rollinggeorge 10-04-2009 06:57 PM

Today our youth need to identify with good role models. Who will fill the void left by John Wayne, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, The Lone Ranger or the Little Red Hen? %/:rolleyes::LOL:

Today we hear our leaders stating they "MISPOKE or DO NOT RECALL" instead of speaking the truth..... "I LIED or I'm NOT GOING TO TELL YOU". One fearless leader taught our children that a B&@@ Job is not sex and his famous quote "Depends on what Is Is?" lives in infamy.:JEKYLHYDE:

I miss the honesty of Archie Bunker's ignorance. (although not politically correct) He called a spade a spade or a &@$ a &@$. We can learn a lot from an idiot!:rolleyes::LOL:

Today our children are taught they have a choice.
Today the adults are being taught we do not have a choice :mad:

The world is a dangerous place which unfortunately requires desperate measures...I for one feel less safe having a former Acorn community agitator at the helm. America's interest was held first and foremost by Darth.:MECOOL:

We must remain vigilant to guard against the enemy within.**)**)**)

Clinton..."peace?"

Somolia, lack of response to WTC I, etc. Yeah, I guess if you do nothing or run, you can call that "peace."
