Actually I had one a couple of years ago on another site but quit because I had nothing of interest to post on it. Yours is starting off well and I am glad to see that you are back to writing.

I feel like I am in an uphill battle to get the book noticed and then comes along someone who says, "do a blog".

I am working on a new action novel.

I put some detail on the blog, but I do not feel comfortable giving away the story.

I don't think of myself as technically challenged. I know we all are a little clueless about our own abilities. So I have responded to posts (like this one), posted a question and then have one paragraph on my blog. The only problem is I thought I was creating a new topic to post and I ended up as a blog! If I only knew how to do what I did last week.... Have you seen my mind? I'm really missing it...

You don't have to give away the story. And as other people who write find your blog they will probably post to it. Like car people or any group, they like to talk and share ideas without getting into specifics about what they are working on. Blogs are good for getting people interested in the same things together to discuss ideas and they do help promote whatever anyone is selling or doing. Just keep at it and don't give up.
