Joe,

I agree the tracks should be maintained better than some of them are. It has been a long time since Daytona has been paved. Did you see all of the cracks as they panned around the track, and in a couple of places it looked as if the cracks had separated but that could have been the camera angle.

By the way, wasn't it Texas Motor Speedway a few years ago that had water coming up through the track like a small spring? I know whichever one it was, right after the last race they tore it all up and installed drainage pipes and then repaved it and it was great.
