Sears Maintainance Agreements

I have a front loader washer and dryer from Sears. They have a few version, mine is not the cheapie version.

I had it less than a year and the pump went out, the computer went bad, and the front seal was shot. The repair guy from Sears said this is a common problem and told me to buy the maintenance agreement because the repairs would have been over $500. I told him I could almost buy another washer for that amount.

I never did buy it and 2 years later, haven't had a problem with it...except the damn seal.

I'll say this anymore...it is almost better to buy a cheap P.O.S. and throw it away when it breaks then spend all the extra on a good version.
