My Wife Has a CD!!

My wife finally has her first music CD in production and though I would share!! Pretty big deal for us and took some time. It's only a small run, we had about a 100 CDs made up, but the songs are also being made available digitally, which will hopefully help get her name out there. Eventually, her songs should be available through iTunes and other sites. We would like to get some of her songs on the radio, but as of yet don't even know how to go about it. Promoting music takes time, something we don't have a lot of right now, especially since we are both temporarily relocated for work.

A little history... she has always liked singing, especially karaoke and such. She also has always written her own songs. We live in a fairly small town outside Seattle and someone heard her at the local tavern and recommended to a local producer that he go listen to her. He eventually became her producer and helped transform her songs from basically the back of napkins to fully mastered digital songs, took two years and quite a bit of work. We're not expecting her to be a superstar, but she will definitely have something to be proud of!

Thanks, she has done quite a bit of work so far. Not sure where it will go from here, it's a lot of time to take it further, but we'll see.
