Default Progress report

Well guys, I've been making steady progress, getting little things done that need to be done......hopefully will get all the brackets made and all the powder coating done in the next week or so and then I think I'll be ready to put the body on.. ....not sure if it will be for good or not.. ....will make that decision in the next week or so... .........Still thinking about making it a flip or removeable front clip for ease of maintenance.....soon is the time to decide....

Default Welllllllllllllllll, so far.....................

Welllllllllllllllllllll, I finally got the body sitting more like it should (still have some tweaking to do) and found there are 3 things keeping the hood from shutting, the 2 air cleaners, the master cylinder resivoir, and one of the intake pipes.......my brother, who "IS NOT" mechanically inclined asked if I could fix it with a BFH oh well, looks like I didn't quite get that 10lbs. stuffed into that 5lb bag back to stuffing

I also see there is going to be quite a bit of fiberglass work to do

It had me sooooooooooo frustrated I caught myself saying I wish I had never started this project but then, in the next breath, "I'm GOING TO FINISH this PROJECT or its GONNA FINISH ME"!!!!!

Default

I had to settle for one of those small chrome air filters and return the nice big oval one to Finish Line as I could not close the hood without doing some major surgery. The small filter fits but it really restricts the air flow.

Put the BFH away when working on the finer parts of a Cobra.
