Cool!

Small block?

Sharroll Celby 06-14-2010 12:19 PM

NAH! 455 Olds with dual quads on an Edelbrock dual-plane manifold, Turbo 400 with a 2500 RPM stall, Dana 60 with 4.11 gears, and 31.00 x 18.50 x 15 rear tires. Car has a 12 point rollcage, a newer cloth headliner, and full carpeting.

Jamo 06-14-2010 01:30 PM

Love it.

Get some wheelie bars and a chute.

Silverback51 06-14-2010 01:35 PM

Henry J's. So ugly they are cute.:D

Congratulations.

Buzz 06-14-2010 04:13 PM

Awesome ride!! Treading on the gas pedal in that lil' monster must be something akin to jumping on a wild boar and sticking it in the arse with a hot poker! Post more pics!

The earthworm view!

Jamo 06-14-2010 05:29 PM

I think you should name it...something quirky.

How about "Edley"?

Ron61 06-15-2010 06:07 AM

That is one nice ride. I agree with Jamo. It needs a name. Must be a blast to drive.

Ron :)

I named it "OhmygodwhatdidIgetmyselfintothistimeJesusChristIwa ntmyMama"!

Actually, I named it "Pookie"!

Buzz 06-15-2010 06:46 PM

I like Edley better. Or how about The Cunning Linguist? :3DSMILE:

Bobcat 06-15-2010 07:40 PM

Hey Buzz ... if it was named The Timex Cunning Linguist , you could say it takes a licking and keeps on ticking  .
Sorry for the thread deterioration .

Bob

Maybe we should have a Name The Car thread and the winner gets the car.

Ron  :D

That's funny! You do realize that the Henry J was named in a contest?

Good Idea! But I WILL have you know that I will be the judge of the "Name the Henry J" contest, and as such that I will choose the best name, and that I will be leaning heavily towards MY choice of name for the Henry, thus keeping ownership of the car. ; lol!!!

rustyBob 06-16-2010 10:36 AM

Thas gotta be a lot if fun to drive.... a small car with a big block motor...are you starting a new trend????

Sharroll Celby 07-26-2010 12:00 PM

After a few cruises around town, some freeway driving, and some just poking around the neighborhood, the Henry J gets 7.5 miles per gallon. With an 8 gallon tank, I can pass everything but a gas station!!! lol !!!

Ron61 07-26-2010 01:01 PM

:p

Maybe you should try twin 8 gallon tanks. Heck, even my 69 gets about 10 MPG on a good day. When I filled it up at a large station I would also stop at the last pump on the way out to top it off again from what it burned going through the islands.

Ron
