" Top Ten TV Detectives' Cars "
" Top Ten TV detectives’ cars "
" With this year’s revival of the 1970s hit cop show Hawaii Five-0, it got me thinking about all the great television detective shows from the past, and the cars the main characters drove.
Although many of the wheels weren’t all that special, or great to drive, what the detectives drove on screen helped shape the character’s personality in viewers’ minds. "

Robin Master's Ferrari that Thomas Magnum "used".
Sonny Crockett's two Ferraris.
How about the car the guy drove in "Cobra" (the series)? Wasn't he a detective?

Yeppers, you were 4 for 4
Just read tonight that Falk was told to pick a car off the studio lot that he thought would suit his role.

Looks like the originator of the " Top 10 ' missed or didn't consider a number of cars on the TV programs

I think I have seen every "Columbo" show at least 2 or 3 times.
It was a 1959 Peugeot 403 convertible.

Thanks for the Broderick Crawford site , it was fun to see the ole 10 -4, growing up in that era mom, dad and I sat there and watched it all the time. I think it was on CBS, Wednesday nights. Just remember Broderick Crawford day is October 4.

Here's another from the show "The Persuaders". I'm not sure if you'd consider Roger Moore and Tony Curtis detectives in that series but the Aston sure was a beauty.
