Merry Christmas to all....
Just want to take a minute to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas andHappy New Year. I work in an upscale wine and spirits store....24 sq ft. I've been doing 7 days the past two weeks and now have two days R & R.
Yesterday we were open from 9a to 6p and did 170,000.00! That's a lot
of booze. Thursday we finished the day at almost 240k. It's just been
chaotic. Then last night I had to go to the annual family gathering.
Rina was home with the flu. A couple of Belvederes on the rocks,
pressed some flesh, kissed some babies, a little chow and I booked out
early.
I've got a standing rib roast in the oven. Going to have a
quiet enjoyable evening with Rina. Haven't seen much of her since
Thanksgiving.
Just finished the rib roast...totally rare...didn't need teeth. bottle of Far Nuente Napa Cabernet..Oakville
Finished with a Pappy Van Winkle 20yr. It's all good.
