CBS: Actor Andy Griffith Dies At 86

MANTEO, N.C. - Actor Andy Griffith has died at the age of 86.

According to CBS News, a family friend confirmed Griffith's death.

Griffith was most famous for playing Sheriff Andy Taylor on “The Andy Griffith Show.”

What a legend, when I attended college at Wake Forrest I visited Pilot Mountain many times which was the setting for the Andy Griffith show, he will be missed.

Awwwww I grew up loving that show and what a great actor he was.

It didn,t any better than sherrif any taylor.. The cops today could learn a thing or two from that show
