Was at the Goodguys car show in Des Moines, Iowa today... when is the last time you saw a hot Ford flathead V8

We have a guy here in Hawaii that has an old rod with a flathead with three
Stromburg dueces on it. That one takes me back in time!

We have a guy here that owns a boat repair business that has one with the three deuces on it. He has it painted white with pictures of gangsters on it. Won at the last car show we had here and is really nice. That is the only old Ford Flathead that I know of in this area.

The sidevalves are popoular over here also.

I went with a 289 mex. block with a tunnel ram and twin Holleys on the '28 and a 350 in the '37.

I think I would like a 34 tudor.

289 with a single carb. Enough HP so I get decent milage on the freeway in a very high gear like 3:00 or 2:73.

Your pictures reminded me of a desire from years past.
