Where are you on The Wheels of Life?

Hey, why did you stop before you got to me? ;) Ron **) |
You aren't ready for the hearse yet!
|
You all can talk about being old, I am that guy with the sports car. Age is a state of mind...just ask Ron or Fred.
I plan on sliding into the finish line burned out, tires bald and the engine smoking. Not putzing in it Twinkie preserved condition.  |
I'm right smack in the middle!

Done all, but the last 2. I am working on those now...LOLOLOLOL
|
Warren, isn't that like the Munster Mobile or something like that?
|
I do not think that was the Munster Mobile. I think that one was a 4 seater.
Edit - yep, more than 1 seat .... http://www.tvacres.com/autos_sitcoms_munster.htm |
right smack in the middle, too, although... I am an old parent.
|
Easy....
Level three but struggling to get up a slight rise due to level six genetics http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/IMG_2154.jpg |
Thats all right Bernie. I've been at level 4 for the last 40 years!
My older sister and brother-in-law have a 40 ft motor home that I could borrow, so I guess I'll slide right into the wheelchair from my Cobra when the time comes. :p **) |
I'm close to getting an RV so I can go see America. Will be keeping my
toys because they are my fountain of youth! |
Flip - They make RV's that float?
|
I can't afford one of those types, but am planning on picking up a nice used
one in the Phoenix area (plenty there!) and then heading on out. I'll stick to the land yachts rather than the ocean going types. |
The RV sounds great. After travelling all around there, I'm amazed at the many stops that you have for the RV's.

Bernie
I have gone on a few long trips with my sister and brother-in-law. The people you meet in RV's are fantastic. Very friendly. And you are right about the RV parks ... they are everywhere. The only problem is that they tow their Jeep behind the RV, so I have to leave my Cobra all alone at home.     |
:)
Flip, There are also many places that you can take an RV off into the desert and camp and not see anyone at all. I know a couple of guys who used to do this every year as they were rock collectors and they even spend a couple of weeks in Death Valley. But some of the pictures that brought back from New Mexico and Arizona where they had gone way off out into the nowhere land were great. Of course, make sure you have an ample storage of water if you should decide to do something like this. :) Ron %/ |
Warren, my avatar is my sports car that rides on the back of my RV.

Ron,
About 15 years ago my wife, son, and I along with her brother and his wife rented a 32'er and left Denver and went to North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Brice, Zion, Boulder dam, Glen Powell dam and many other places and dropped the rv in Vegas. Everyone had a great time and saw a lot of territory. It was snowing going over the Continental Divide so I had to stop and throw snow balls with my son who had never seen the stuff. The people we met were all friendly and full of information as to what to see and do which was good as we were pretty much winging it. We are looking forward to doing a lot of this. I'd love to be towing my Cobra but may save that for another chapter. |
