Its about time. This stuff will help discredit some of the holocaust denier crazies out there now.

Plus ... a lot of new shows from the Hitler (excuse me, the History) Channel.

Yea, I just hope they don't have anything about some of my ancestors in there. I would like to go through there and look at all of those records. I like old stuff.

Why did they keep it closed to the public for so long?

Tru,

I was around long before the Nazis ever came into being. And the Swastika has been around as long as I have. That wasn't their idea either.

65 Cobra,

Like all things Govt. they just have to keep things from the public. In this case they do have a bit of justification as they could use the records to try and find legal kin of people in the camps, but they didn't do much of that. It was a few years ago when they opened some of our Govts. classified files to the public that they found some Admirals score on the bow and arrow range classified as Top Secret. Must have been one lousy archer.

It is staggering how many twits think the swastika was a Nazi invention. The Boy Scouts had one in their logo for years.

Tru,

I think the Swastika was actually a mid evil pagan type worshipers symbol. Something along the lines of devil worship, but I would have to go look in the book to be sure. I just know that my ancestors didn't invent it. Hitler adopted it because he felt it gave him unearthly powers. Lets hear at for Uncle Adolph.

I explicitly deny any knowledge of the above post.

Swastikas are from the east---India, I believe----but they also show up in ancient Greece.
NAZI is indeed socialist---it stands for the National Socialist German Workers' Party (founded in 1919). What's interesting is all the absolute and utter morons who call conservatives "Nazis". Gawd, the sheeple of the Left are so-o-o-o-o-o dumb! In any conversation or argument with a liberal, three things are unavoidably foreordained to happen: 1) the liberals will be utterly puerile and misinformed 2) they will resort to ad hominem attacks and 3) finally call you a Nazi.

Nifty. Like talking to ranting adolescence. And they outnumber us coservatives and libertarians easily. They are, after all, the lower 2/3 of the socio-economic pyramid.

Waitin' for Hillary. Hooooooo Boy! A "lamp-throwing lesbian" fer president.

I'll end with a question: was that hostage-taker in Hillary's NH headquarters just an irate husband (as Rush suggested)?

Ar-ar-ar-ar-ar-ooooooooodle.

My ex father-in-law had a very old rug from the middle east that had a swastika in each corner. He researched it and said it was an old Hebrew symbol. Life is strange.
