every am when I pick up the paper it,s another group of politicians indicted ,arrested, or held for questioning in some scam involving the peoples money.Former gov. is in prison, and it goes from there, it is no wonder the state is broke financially all the time. One senator walked around for two-three months with a 1.5 million check in his pocket from state of alabama trying to make commisioners in home county buy 600 acres of land he had a good hand in, commisioners refused to do the deal, said it was wrong, and good senator was never questioned about it at all.Had to give money back when it was disclosed.RON--I too, am turning against washington, the state and local folks---folks. Hell of a note when folks can come to your country, go to your flight school, commander your planes ,fly them into your buildings, kill 3000 of your neighbors, and everybody in washington was told about it under two sitting presidents and they did nothing. We haven,t talked about the invasion from the south, still another one while washington sits on it,s ass.FRiday 2 cents. In alabama we are suppose to be dumb as heck and backwards---but common ordinary folks can tell when the melon is rotten.Will-alabama

Its not just Kalifornia. NJ is also trying to pass some type of ammunition law (don't have the article in front of me) but I seem to remember them wanting to require FID, background checks etc. Limiting the amounts and types of ammo can't be far behind.
They'll also give just about anyone a drivers license. More people are killed by cars than guns, but you don't see anyone holding the car manufacturer's responsible for the deaths caused by someone driving one of their cars. |
Actually Archrms that has already happened here in this state. Several years ago a drunk drive who was in a Ford Bronco and had more than one DUI ticket ran off over the edge of a canyon and was crippled. He sued Ford because their vehicle didn't protect him from himself is what it mattered to and collected a huge amount. The fact he was drunk and had prior tickets for that didn't matter at all. If he had been driving a Chevy the outcome would have been the same. To me that is kind of like buying a gun, taking it home to your machine shop and retooling it so it will fire full automatic and then suing the gun manufacturer because it had been tampered with. :( Ron  |
This seems to me that this an attempt to get ahead of the expected Supreme Court ruling on the second amendment.
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms" doesn't say anything about ammunition or the regulation thereof. While I have no real expectation that the Court's decision will clear up the myriad of gun laws across our country, I do expect a lively debate after the outcome. Won't it be hilarious to watch Obama and Clinton try to out gun each other? Where will be the duck hunting videos? Who will shoot themselves in the foot first? Scott S |
Well they are already banning all ammunition with lead in it. But it is ok to have other ammo and put poison on it I guess since they haven't said anything about that.
I also saw a report on the news yesterday that AK-47s are showing up in greater numbers now. The black market is doing a banner year in sales. I am just waiting for the 15 day background check bill to come along before you can buy a car in this state. Funny that the only unendangered species in the country seems to be politicians. Ron  |
