Question Could This Be The Parachute

This kind of raises some questions concerning the first Airline hijacking in Seattle. It will be nice when they determine if it was one of his chutes.

and since it was burried, that means that he was alive and survived or the chute would have been found hanging in the trees with him in the harness

I have always been interested in this story since I first heard it. I was born after the incident, so I did not know about it until sometime in the late 90s. I am still curious about the guy who claimed he was D.B. Cooper a few years back. He was dying and wanted to get it off his chest he claimed. His wife was on a program about it and showed his picture from 1971 and he did look like the drawing. He was also confirmed to be in Oregon at the time just before the incident happened.

There is also the part of the money they found many miles from there that was buried. I have been wandering about that and like you have really watched everything I can find on this case. It was interesting on how the FBI screwed up on trying to follow the plane. The agent that was in charge was on TV and he said first they got two fighters to follow it but they couldn't go that slow and had to be recalled so they got a helicopter and it couldn't go as fast as the airliner and they lost it. Supposedly they had tracker beacons in the money bags but nothing much has ever been said about them. Probably didn't work.
