Smile Some Nice Cars

I went up to the Sears Parking lot yesterday to look at some of the cars that are here for the Kool April Nights car show and saw some great Street/Drag cars. One Corvette had a paint job on it that was really outstanding with a big blower and huge engine. I tried to get a picture but there was always 6 or 8 people around it. Several older cars that were far nicer and better than when they came from the factory. And a few that they actually drove farther than from the motel to the parking lot. Looks as if this years show is going to really have some great cars if the weather will just hold out until next Saturday. I may try to go to another of the show and shines this week mas they have them every day. And if things work out so I have Saturday free, I plan to try and go to the big show.

Yep, that Corvette does appear to be on steriods.

Nice pictures Ron, thanks for sharing.
I wonder what happens to the engine temperature if a car like that Vette gets stuck in traffic on a hot day.
I think that most of the mileage type of car does is probably getting in and out of the trailer.

I am sure it works wonders when it comes time to measure ones endowments.

Wayne,

He drove it out of the trailer and about 100 feet and immediately started worrying about any gravel he may have picked up on the tires and how hot the engine may have gotten. But it sure sounded good. I doubt if he would be doing any cruises with it.

They have another in the downtown mall parking lot today. I may go into that one if this darn wind will stop blowing. I see a lot of really nice older cars driving around now. Saw a great restored 1963 Ranchero yesterday as he drove by the house.
