Could it be due to the return of a certain....well.....I mean.....oh forget it. I have to go mail my taxes......please behave.......

I have also been too busy to visit for a week. I haven't got a clue what happened but it sure seems like the excrement hit the ventilator.

:(

Wayne,

We had some rather trying threads for a while there and sad to say I think that one of my posts was part of it. It really came out wrong and I had made a suggestion that maybe a third moderator would take some of the load off Jamo and Ron. I know Turk was a moderator before he left and I thought they had the three of them then. But as it turned out I fear that both of them took it to mean I didn't think they were keeping up with the load and I meant the exact opposite. I have never seen better moderators on any site. Then Jamo let me know that he had taken Turks place and there weren't three of them back then. Anyway that has always been one of my largest problems. I can talk to people and get across what I mean, but when I try to type it, I have a really hard time getting what I am trying to say to come out right and have had a lot of people angry at me because of that. Even in college, they let me take some of the tests orally because I had such a hard time writing what I meant. Anyway in no way was I questioning either of them and I meant it as a helpful suggestion as I know they both work and spend huge amounts of time baby setting us. But it came out wrong and now I fear that I was classed in that group in that particular thread.

Ron,
I have the same problem when I type. Maybe that is why I get what you are saying. I tend to go ahead and type "Not that I think you are doing a bad job...., Just a suggestion to use if you can, throw out if you can't..., Not that you need my input, but since I feel like interrupting..." Evey once in a while I will break out the, "Since I know everything and am better than you, you should..." That one always works wonders :JEKYLHYDE

Ron61 04-16-2008 12:20 PM

:)

Joe,

Maybe that is why we seem able to understand each others posts so well. I do get frustrated when someone gets mad at one of my posts and I read it through their eyes so to speak and it does not sound like what I wanted to say. Oh to be intelligent and get rid of the Village Idiot Title. :p

Engage brain before typing always helps. You never see any of my comments being taken the wrong way, you idiot!:LOL::LOL:

When I was working, my boss and I always gave each other a draft of an angry letter or e-mail for review with comments before we sent it. It always hurts that we cannot get words back after they have escaped the mouth.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program (or rant).:eek:

Ron61 04-16-2008 12:39 PM

It is rather hard to engage what you don't have. And as I stated, even in college I got to take some of my tests in the professors office because I have a hard time writing what I mean and making it come out that way. The Idiot part I won't deny. That would give you to much ammunition to use against me.

Ron :JEKYLHYDE

Wayne Maybury 04-17-2008 07:57 AM

Ron

Here is a hint, write whatever is on your mind then read it completely before sending it. Very often you will want to make changes. It has worked for me in the past. I also tend to be able to find and correct my spelling errors by reading what I have written, before sending.

Wayne

Ron61 04-17-2008 08:07 AM

:)

Wayne,

That would be great but I can't even read my own writing. In fact it is so bad the girls at the bank once told me that if they ever saw a check of mine that they could read they would know I hadn't written it.

Ron

What do you mean I have a fat ass!?

:p

bomelia 04-17-2008 11:19 PM

You don't?

Jamo 04-17-2008 11:25 PM

naw...just a bad camera angle.

Ron61 04-18-2008 01:41 AM

:)

Mike it really is the camera angle. When he was up here for the car show he fit into the back of an 18 wheeler easily. And he got into his Cobra without any problem except the sucking sound when he tried to get out.

Ron :)

trularin 04-18-2008 07:08 AM

So...Jamo...what camera angle is that??

Jamo 04-18-2008 01:25 PM

front, left, right, below, above, etc.
