Obviously not referring to Rome! have you ever taken any of the 'underground' tours...the 'City Under the City' stuff? They have one thru the water system of Rome (that connects all the fountains) and it is high on my 'To Do'. Whats fun is that now (post-military) I can actually spend time there and not feel quite so rushed. Next up for us is the Forbidden City...summer 2009.

Hey, now ... wait just a second. A cool thing to do (if you know it's going to be there) is to go to Vatican City on Easter! A few years ago - if you knew the right person to talk to - you could go 'to this museum, turn left, go down to the guard, show him your ticket' go down another hall to get to the display room and be the only visitor in the room with the Shroud of Turin.
