Gun owners pay attention
YouTube - England Gun Ban Update
Pay attention about 2/3s the way through to what the prosecutor said the guy should have done. This guy should have a .22 put to his ear and left in the street.

The clip reminded me of when California outlawed the .50 cal. Hardly a whimper from all but a few.

Crime rate
David,
I don't think the crime rate has changed google "under belly" as the bad guys don't register their guns.
Cheers,
Bryan

Yes, I know the criminals could care less about gun registration and gun laws, just wondering if that now since the good guys are disarmed, has crime risen.......

What I suspect is that the crimes committed using a registered weapon went down to zero.
Look how effective gun control is.

You have to look at the right statistics to see the real impact...
The guns will not be there for the criminals to steal. Hence the "armed" crimes will go down. (a lot of the guns in criminals hands are stolen) Of course black market will provide a small amout of weapons, but your average crackhead won't have the money for one. (let alone a market priced gun)
What you will see is the number of thwarted crimes drops to near zero...
Here in the US you'll find only one organization providing these figures, the NRA.
Still have to laugh when people think the government is going to protect them when even here in the US military forces are used against civilians. (this is illegal by the way) The National guard and Coast Guard have been used countless times to kill civilians, not to mention law enforcement armed with military equipment like tanks and APCs for "crowd control". I'd imagine China also called the tanks they rolled in "crowd control".
Gun control is nothing more than the government trying to protect itself from being over thrown.

If that were true then England's crime rate should be close to zero now - Not.
