OK this is my first post on this forum, and the biggest reason I am is WTM442's comment at the end of his post, about liberals. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS, I am a Vietnam vet and I have been working for the department of defense for the last 34 years, training troops, and I have done more for my country and the troops then your pissy little ass ever did and I am one of those liberals you like to call a maggot! What have you done for our country besides b****! Oh wait don't tell me let me guess you have a ribbon on your car that says support the troops. You sniveling little twit why don't you wake up and see what the results are of your conservative party, the reason we are in the mess we are, started with reaganamics. And this ridiculous policy of not taxing wealthy people and corporations, better to be a tax and spend liberal then a barrow and spend conservative. Do you think that we can have a war on two fronts and put it all on a credit card for our children's, children to take care of, is this doing anything to preserve the value of the dollar! Selling out our country to the Chinese its these kind of policies that have ruined this country, not liberals! and if you think we can just drill our way out of this problem you are stupid! it's a drop in the bucket. were you aware that until just recently all the oil from Alaska was sold overseas, it has a high sulfur content and is more expensive to crack, and it took the so called liberals to force the oil companies to sell it hear in the states. And did you know that there are 33 million acres on shore and 40 million off shore that the oil companies have permits to drill on and choose not to, and this is government land and we have all but given it away to them without anything in return! this is our land the tax payers. They choose not to pump, to wait on the prices to go up! Well I have to ask, how much does it need to up? So if in that little pee brain you have, wish to continue to be rave Americans that don't see your point of view, by all means continue! but ask yourself what have you done to make this country better!

Bill, I would never call a liberal a maggot.

There are a few things you can count on happening when you challenge liberal ideology:

1) They become enraged.
2) They attack religion
3) They assume others lie as much as they do.
4) As they spew their venom, they offer nothing new.

Bill, just because a company has been "given" land doesn't mean there is oil there. Yours is an empty argument liberals are using to deflect the issue - much as in "10 years" and "drop in the bucket".

Leave it to a liberal to prefer a dry bucket.

never said you did, I was commenting on another persons signature line ware he called liberals maggots.

1) So I was not challenged, just a rant.
2) I was raised Catholic, I grew up there is no GOD
3) I assume everyone lies in politics, even liberals!
4) Though I do not have the technical ability to get us out of this mess, drilling more will not help.

And finally no it does not mean there is oil there, but there are many wells that did come through they just would not be a profitable to the oil companies at the time.

Leave it to a conservative not to read everything.

Bill, I'd say I pretty much sized you up perfectly because you are like 99% of liberals. It's like getting a Big Mac - you always know what to expect. I don't expect to change your mind because you're a lost cause. I just want your ideology defeated.

Completely.

Default Grandchildren

Well my grandson just came over. I have promised to read him a book by Ted Bell titled Nick of Time. This book is about the kind of heroes I want my grandson to learn about.

He is only six and already understands that if you have a whole lot of something it isn't worth as much as something else that is harder to acquire. I wonder if he can understand that when certain parties in the government want to tax everything to raise more money for more government so when the price of that product goes up so does their cut. I'm sure he does, if not I'll teach him.

He also knows if HE catches a fish out of pawpaws pond we will have fish for supper. Some will understand this some won't those that don't are usually the problem.

Nice car, my Grandson is helping me with mine. I'm off tomorrow so we will spend some time learning about more tools and how to use them. Don't want him to have to depend on the Libs all his life.

Ha! Good for you. I wish that were my car but I pray that I will be content with what I have. Enjoy your day and leave space in the trunk for liberals and batteries.

That's great that you get to have your grandson help you, and that you teach him about tools! But teach him to depend on Americans to always do the right thing, not an ideology.
