'O'No! doesn't care for the American flag---
This guy is total contempt, why would anyone vote for this oxygen depleter?.

That is actually scary!!!!!! So, . . It is not about America, . . . . . It is all about him !!!!
. |
:(
I don't think he likes anything about this country and if he is elected, there will probably never be another election as he wants socialism. Another Hitler wanna be but without the intelligence. Ron  |
While I don't want him in there, the American people will stop him cold if he actually tried to end elections. It would be the one time that there would be no party lines, I believe the entire nation would stand together as one until he was out of office. Then we would drift back to our usual BS.
|
So what's the problem here? Man, you guys are the scary ones! Your fear mongering over a campaign plane paint job borders on paranoia.
Well Joe McCarthy would sure be proud! This kind of thinking exemplifies the kind of timidity that is most damaging and stems from the consequence of anticommunist furor. Since political activities could get you in trouble, prudent folk avoided them. Instead, to the despair of intellectuals, middle class Americans embraced social conformity. You don't have to wear a flag pin or paint a flag on your plane to demonstrate your loyalty to the USA. Indeed, it is SO often over used I question it's ability to have any real meaning when used by a politician on the campaign trail. It is, to often, little more than a policitcal statement designed to appease the masses. |
I agree. The crying over this is hilarious...and I don't even like Obama!
In the meantime, I have yet to see an article about Stevens of Alaska and how he sold out our country for $250k in freebies. Now that is a pathetic American! |
Intentionally leaving it off speaks for itself ernie, BTY, what intellectuals are you speaking of?. Are they the seen all, done all and know all such as yourself?.
..........article about Stevens .......... I saw it on fox news?..... |
Obama got a lot of $hit a few months ago about his removal of the flag pin from his suit. Of course, the flag lapel pin came back quickly on his suit.
To quote the last line of the article "And the plane that once had an American flag on its tail now sports the Obama 'O.'" Anyone want to bet how long before an American flag is painted on the jet? Wait a cotton-picken minute ... I know why the Obama 'O' is on the plane. When elected, he is going to change the stars and stripes flag to the Obama 'O' flag. Yes We Can! Change is Good! My shovel is teflon coated. Long live the King! http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...ns/StObama.jpghttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...maflipflop.gif http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...emccainjy4.gif |
Some of you are really pathetic. The airplane in question is chartered from North American Aviation. The stylized American flag in question is NAA's corporate logo, and the campaign used regular chartered aircraft with corporate logos throughout the primary season.
Since he became the presumptive nominee, the campaign has now decked out an airplane in the campaign's logo. McCain did the same thing and ditched the corporate logo of the company his campaign chartered an aircraft from. |
So, all presidential candidates lease planes, what's the point?
|
The point is both McCain and Obama ditched the corporate logos of the companies they chartered aircraft from for the fall campaign. McCain chartered his from Swift Aviation and dumped their logo as well. Because Obama's aircraft was chartered from a company whose logo is a stylized American flag on the tail, it somehow is implied that it is outrageous. That is silly BS.

Seriously guys - get a bloody clue. That this is even viewed as an issue, and that a right wing Move-On like World Net Daily is even viewed as a legit news sources says nothing good about many of you. Oh, and how many of you are wearing tacky $.99 pink ribbon pins? Nobody? I guess you must all be in favour of cancer (or maybe you are smart enough not to put holes in your suit). Try looking at some real issues - not who paints the biggest flag on the side of their plane. 427 SO,
I believe it was you who started this dumb-ass, thread designed for mindless morons who feed on this crap, so you deserved your slap down. Indeed it is not about who paints the biggest American flag on the campaign airplane. However, you are right that Obama's is smaller than McCain's. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...hee/plane6.jpg |

I would say Joe McCarthy would rate right up there.
People tell stories of night raids on "suspected Communists" and the complete family would disappear. And this guy was not just talk...he was action. I have wondered how the next few years will play out. :D :D |
