Request PC geeks feedback

I mentioned previously that netflix allows instant movie viewing on a PC, I also ask if I could connect my pc to my hdtv and some of you said I would have poor picture quality. Please read link and let me know if anything has change allowing pc-tv quality viewing?. I'm not interested in copying, just viewing. I never did understand why people buy movies?.

Anyway, appreciate the assistance.
