|
Another Cardiff Giant in the making? Time will tell.

Why is it people can always find these needles in a haystack but can't take a decent picture!

My thoughts as well. All the technology they can use to search, but a picture alludes them. Same thing for UFO hunters.

I can't believe it is not true! I thought they really found big foot!
Bigfoot" fails DNA test Fri Aug 15, 6:48 PM ET Bigfoot remains as elusive as ever. Results from tests on genetic material from alleged remains of one of the mythical half-ape and half-human creatures, made public at a news conference on Friday held after the claimed discovery swept the Internet, failed to prove its existence. Its spread was fueled by a photograph of a hairy heap, bearing a close resemblance to a shaggy full-body gorilla costume, stuffed into a container resembling a refrigerator. One of the two samples of DNA said to prove the existence of the Bigfoot came from a human and the other was 96 percent from an opossum, according to Curt Nelson, a scientist at the University of Minnesota who performed the DNA analysis. Bigfoot creatures are said to live in the forests of the U.S. Pacific Northwest. An opossum is a marsupial about the size of a house cat. Results of the DNA tests were revealed in an e-mail from Nelson and distributed at the Palo Alto, California, news conference held by Tom Biscardi, host of a weekly online radio show about the Bigfoot. Also present were Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, the two who say they discovered the Bigfoot corpse while hiking in the woods of northern Georgia. They also are co-owners of a company that offers Bigfoot merchandise. Despite the dubious photo and the commercial interests of the alleged discoverers, the Bigfoot claim drew interest from Australia to Europe and even The New York Times. Biscardi said the DNA samples may not have been taken correctly and may have been contaminated, and that he would proceed with an autopsy of the alleged Bigfoot remains, currently in a freezer at an undisclosed location. dna test lol.......the guy that made the suit has made it public he cant
believe they got this far with the hoax. his suit was made for some tv spot some time ago and was bought second hand. this guy was interviewed on local radio show. must say they are charging people to view more pics of the gruesome beast, could be lucrative. hey ron can we put you in a cooler take some pics and announce we have captured father time?:p |
Why not. If the pictures are as bad as all of those I have seen of Bigfoot, no one would even know what it is. Ron :JEKYLHYDE |
What a load of carp. The site is crashed, but the "store" works fine. These a-holes have gone too far.
Bet they are making a lot of money. Doh! Wish I had thought of it first... Mike |
Only $5 for a view - step right up, step right up! And so it goes!

Somebody had sex with a possum?
Only in the south... I can't tell from the photo but did it have both front teeth? I may know the mother. Scott S |
Look, there was simple error with the way the DNA was taken, some how, it got contaiminated. As soon as they get a clean sample I'm sure the DNA will prove the case...
Which is, as stated above, 'somebody had sex with a possum', with no teeth. |

I am sure the possum had a full set... Scott S |

Does anyone think this is for real?
You have to believe that the possibility really exist. We are finding new creatures all the time in the ocean. What are the chances that there is a large unknown mammel out there somewhere? Stranger things have happened. |
Steve,
I think the possibility does exist, I just can't understand with all of the people searching for them and with the cameras they now have why any picture I ever see is always blurred or in such a way you can't really make out what it is. Ron :) |
