Nuthin new...

The Far Left are - by far - the most underhanded, intolerant, twisted, intentionally-misleading group of terrorists of any politically-oriented organization. All of which is given tacit approval by the Democratic party, albeit with just a slight wink and nod.

Great group of folks. :JEKYLHYDE

Smokingcobra2 09-15-2008 04:44 PM

If this was a conservative doing that to a liberal candidate- it would be prime time news on nbc
joeg

turnpike boy 09-15-2008 05:50 PM

Oh, yes!

:) Shame, shame indeed! :)

p.s. - where are those bikini pics? For strictly professional reasons, of course:p

Oh dear me, step down carefully from that lofty, moral pedestal. I agree that the "Far Left" are a group of completely antisocial nutcases, but the "Far Right" would invade Poland, given the chance!!!!!

LOL

signed "pompous windbag"

To Poland! - all the while seeking opportunities and enabling / providing same to the Poles who chafe beneath socialist collars. The Far Left, in contrast, seek nothing but their own agenda, and all within their own borders, to the utter and absolute exclusion of any who would dare contradict their views.

In other words, the Far Left seeks what the Poles have. Why not send the Far Left to Poland, where all can live in despair? The Far Right would have no argument with that.

As to morality, well.....it is what you find it to be. Personally, I find genuine personal liberty to be far more valuable than contrived social engineering.

oh dear, yet another one that went over your head! The "invading Poland" comment was a reference to WWII and the "right wing" nazis who (as you should recall!!) STARTED it all by "invading Poland". Nothing to do with the latterday socialized state of the country. Sorry, TP, I shall try and avoid historical references in future posts!

No apology necessary, PW. It would, on the other hand, be easier to decipher your prose if it were consistent....the original post offered out a possibility, which was somehow supposed to be interpreted as history. Given the context of current discussions, for some reason I cleave to the present.

Huh....go figure:LOL:

german nazi party rightists? not even close....
nazi party otherwise known as the national socialist party. ideology shared
with the communists who i am sure all will agree are not right wing by any
stretch of the imagination.
wwII nazi party not to be confused with modern day neo nazi's.

Ron61 09-16-2008 01:44 PM

:3DSMILE:

Ernie,

I would certainly prefer to see Palin in a bikini than Obama.

Ron

We-ee-ee-lll, THANK YOU F.W! Not being a student of history (I'm an engineer...mebbe just a little less boring than history:)), it would seem our expatriate member lobbed a softball. Oops.

What says you, Glyn? Apart from your contextual gaffs ("... that the "Far Left" are a group of completely antisocial nutcases, but the "Far Right" would invade Poland.....") implying the present, it would seem your factual bulwark has something of a hole in it as well. Perhaps.

No matter. I'm still delighted to see - sarcasm dismissed - that you intend to vote for the proletariat candidate in lieu of the syncophantic candidate. Proud of you, old sot!

FWB 09-16-2008 02:49 PM

oh dont thank me as a history buff, thank me as a 4.0 mechanical engineer,
physics for science and engineering, and a owner of a successful manufacturing facility for 12 years now. only got a 4.0 sorry i dont live up to your lofty expectations

turnpike boy 09-16-2008 02:58 PM

Say what?

You certainly live up to MY expectations - and being a Mech, even better impressed. Us lowly civil engrs just can't seem to focus on history....keep building the same old stuff.

p.s. - no 4.0 here; left that to wife and kids.

FWB 09-16-2008 03:24 PM

sorry its a touchy subject for me.....grandfather had to put up with govt
watching him thru wwII even though he served in WWI, from mail being opened
to strange cars out front. i starved to get thru college and watched others get
a free education and throw it away. being a white male i have everything handed to me and all, you know

BeanCounter 09-16-2008 03:52 PM

Dear PW,

I'm so glad that you now know that the Nazi's were socialists. But being a Brit I can see how you would think they were right wing. :p

.........hee, hee, heee, hheeeee!!:D

Ron61 09-16-2008 04:16 PM

:p

Hey, you guys quit referring to my ancestors as radical Nazis. At least some of them weren't as bad as the SS and Gestapo. One distant relative served in the regular German Army and hated Hitler.
On a better note, these wanna be Nazis here in the states would be executed in a minute by Hitler and his group of real thugs. In fact I don't think the different groups even all claim to stand for the same thing. Just wanting publicity and power.

This post has nothing to do with the topic at hand and the author disavows all intend to tell the truth about it. Now can I get a committee convened to investigate my background so I can be on TV?

Ron :)

FWB 09-17-2008 01:05 AM

only one question..........

who the hell is pw? **)**)

Ron61 09-17-2008 02:59 AM

Maybe short for Prisoner of War????

Ron
