Bad home loans
As the mortgage crisis continues to unfold a thought occurred to me.
I don't know anyone who has lost their home, except for maybe one person that went through a divorce. Do you know of any?
This new scheme to bail out bad loan debt will be paid by the vast majority of us that have been responsible in our choices. I would propose that any home owner that will get help from the government to keep a home must forfeit a portion if not all of the interest deduction for that loan.
At least there would be some accountability to the rest of us.
