Kashkari, a former executive at Goldman Sachs, go figure !!!
so he can bring a bunch of his buddy over

I love this country

wtm442 10-06-2008 02:40 PM

The picture of that guy looks like a deer in the headlights. A million mile stare for millions of dollars.

1985 CCX 10-06-2008 05:28 PM

Wow!

Neel Cashcarry looks like the right guy huh? Would you open up your house to this guy?

Crazy eyes:eek:

Drop 700 Billion and the market falls below 10k, obviously a socialist move. Where are the people who used to represent the Right?

I also heard, ie could be rumor, that the head of Lehman Brother walked away with 480 million in compensation. And to boot the washington elite think in the end the sell off of assets will fall back to the taxpayers.

Get ready to sell your Cobra and other toys as Nobama will be ushering in 2009. Our tax dollars will be further re-distributed to ease the pain of the non-working and have nots....

Has anyone been hearing the stories surrounding those who own the federal reserve and their plan to bring the market to 8000. Seems those in control (roughly the richest 300) bring about our economic cycles and love recessions, depressions and war (seen as opportunities to expand their wealth). Beyond my sense or ability to reason but an interesting thought.
I think I like the idea of giving everyone over the age of 18 in our country (that is a legal citizen) $475,000 instead of AIG and forgetting bailing out these companies. The money reintroduced into the economy through the personal spending following such a gift would get this country back on track in a hurry.

Dangerous Doug 10-06-2008 07:23 PM

Actually, the $700B would be distributed over 300M US residents: $2333.00

Almost enough to get a set of Webers for a Cobra...

I heard the head of Lehman "took" home "only" $250M...

Nobama will be better than McBush, thank-you very much.

if you are on welfare nobama is your guy he will increase your standard of living

if you work and make 30k or less obama will increase your standard of living temporarily until those he's taxing get poorer.

if you make above 30k or have a small business, god help you, you will be screwed blue, start looking poor on paper or you will be giving up what you've
got.

my plan is in effect, the 2 family dwelling on the med in a third world country
is almost done, cost 40k, average monthly income 100 dollars us, i will watch
obama economics from afar, btw savings account there is paying 9%, no irs
there, tax return has to be filed in us for 5 years, then nothing, if SS lasts
until retirement i will be upper income on it alone, the interest alone from selling of house here is 3 times what is needed to live, this isn't for everyone you need
to be married to a citizen of the country, but it's for me

1985 CCX 10-07-2008 01:16 PM

Either way:

McBush or Nobama we are in for some tough times..........:(

This is bad.

This is verrrrrry bad!!!

Where have all the true Republicans gone?

We need Ronald Reagan back

There is no need to worry about the Democrats. Soon there won't be anything left for them to give away.

All the republican executives at AIG went on a junket in California. Total cost about $440,000. They should be put in jail.

what happened??? it fall down & go boom...

mtml427 10-08-2008 10:07 PM

Seems we need to have a little grass roots effort to hang these M.F.s by the balls. Just disgusting how the execs at any company can be so self centered, feel so entitled and spit in the faces of every American who bailed there butts out of their own incompetance.

What???

The people that went on that retreat were the "Top Performers" for the company. That had nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats. I think it was terrible and should not have happened BTW.

Anyone on this board that owns a Cobra should not be supporting Obama IMO. Look at the liberal groups that back the Democrats that would love to make your Cobra illegal. Obama is a socialist that wants big government and wants to take away my second amendment rights among other things. I don't love McCain but Obama scares me.

If oversight would have been done on Fannie and Freddie (which the liberal democrats opposed) this problem would never have happened. Now my stocks are taking a beating because they let everyone take out a home loan even if they could not afford it. I live within my means, but a lot of people don't. These are the same people that Obama wants to keep in their houses they never should have bought. The market needs to correct itself and the government needs to stay out.

davidlee 10-09-2008 11:53 AM

So is a "Top Performer" of a broke company the "top of the bottom" ??? Just wondering.

Well said, my thoughts EXACTLY!

We think it's bad now, NObama spells real trouble for this country.

McCain / Palin are certainly the better choice!

This nightmare all started with CRA/ACORN 1977 thank you Jimmy Carter & 1999 Bill the blue dress Clinton.
"Financial Services Modernization Act," which repealed the part of the Glass-Steagall Act.

If Barack Hussein Obama gets elected he'll have 2 supreme court appointments you can kiss the second amendment good by!
