Isn't it SAD
When a christian shares ther faith it's shoving it down someone else's throat, and when we dont listen to ther's were being close minded...

Bill,
I am Catholic and I don't agree with everything the Church teaches, especially in the past 25 years. I have good friends that are of all faiths and we talk and discuss our different views and why without trying to convert each other and learn a lot from it. That is not ever going to happen on an open Forum so I stay out of the religious threads as I feel everyone has a right to their beliefs and if you don't agree with them then you are shoving yours down their throats. Have a great Thanksgiving.

"Sharing" is preaching.Certain religous topics can be discussed WITHOUT"sharing".And although i would never tell anyone what to think-i don't want to be preached at.And don't try to spin it,Bill.

I was a devout 7th Day Motorcyclist but my faith has slipped in recent years. I worshiped at the altar of winding bitumen every Sunday and often on Saturdays too. Every year I made the pilgrimage with thousands of other faithful followers to Motorcycle Meca to hear the sermon of speed at the Moto GP.
In recent years I've converted to the Church of Machinism and reading from the books of Lathe and Mill, TIG and MIG.
I do still keep a motorcycle in the back of the temple as the two religions aren't mutually exclusive.
Cheers

Good on ya Mike.
WildBill...I am an Orthodox Armenian, the oldest state-recognized Christian church. We're tougher than the Greeks (as recent events in Jersulem indicate), and Jews and Muslims both buy their rugs from us. Given that, the rest of the Christian faiths appear to me to be replicas, including that Italian-based square-framed one. Mine IS the REAL Church. We don't spread the word and try to get others to join...we prefer to keep it a highly elite closed grouping meant only for the chosen few. As with most REAL things, I don't really want to hear about your freeking replica.
Your plea seems to be that we should have to listen to your inarticulate blather (Doesn't your faith believe in good grammer? Take a break from the Bible and read an English textbook...please) about your form of religion. At least when the Buddhists want some attention, they just light themselves up.
My take...religions are all man-made, including atheism. Science is nice...it's like accounting (it describes money, but it just ain't money, is it).
Now...having preached to you about my beliefs, you should know that you're going to burn in hell unless you accept them (essentially your message to everyone else). But my God is stronger than your God...he saw fit to make sure I had the button and not you.
Thread closed. Have a nice day.
