I think we are PI$$ed
Yup. Judging from the posts that I am reading, I am certain we are suffering from PI$$ (Post Innaugeral Stress Syndrome.) And I'm kind of liking it

Let's see if can stir the pot a little.... Cody Willard, FOX business anchor, predicted huge corruption with the proposed bail out (stimulus package for you libs) and it's already started with non other than Barney Frank!,
Boston’s OneUnited Bank received $12 million in federal rescue funds last month just weeks after regulators issued a cease-and-desist order to overhaul some of its lending and executive compensation practices.
The tiny bank received the bailout money after gaining influential support from Massachusetts congressman and House Financial Services Committee Chairman 'Barney Frank'.

I wonder what it will take to 'REALLY'[ piss people off...........

This has been going on for a while now.
Pittsburg National Bank got almost 8 billion in bailout money. Instead of using it for bailout purposes, they went and bought a local bank, National City. The feds refused to give National City money for some unknown reason. National was one of the top 50 banks in the U.S. and had more holding than PNC and was technically in better financial shape.
This whole bailout is nothing more than a big rip-off. Take from the taxpayers and give to the incompetent. Citi already had 24 billion in bailout given to them, then they went back for more. We, the taxpayers, are getting screwed by BOTH sides.

Nonetheless, in December OneUnited got a $12 million injection from the Treasury's Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP. One apparent factor: the intercession of Rep. Barney Frank, the powerful head of the House Financial Services Committee.
---Mr. Frank, by his own account, wrote into the TARP bill a provision specifically aimed at helping this particular home-state bank. And later, he acknowledges, he spoke to regulators urging that OneUnited be considered for a cash injection.----

Take $100 from your left pocket.
Burn $40.
Put the remaining $60 in your right pocket.

Isn't that about the same thing that B.O.A. did so they could become the largest bank in the U.S.and now they are crying for more bailout money.

The $700,000,000,000.00 "Bailout" is named TARP. Troubled [Toxic?] Asset Relief Fund. It WAS clearly defined to be used for relief from bad mortgage assets. $350,000,000,000.00 has already been distributed [spent? wasted?]. How much on troubled assets? Near as I can read, NONE! 350 billion to corruption already and the rest to rapidly follow down the glory hole.
You want honest politicians? With 700 billion on the table and another 2 TRILLION to follow. That's enough to buy the most honest men that ever lived, ALL of them.
Will it ruin the United States? Yes, there is no other possibility.
Do the pols. care? Not at all, they are getting theirs.
You want bipartisan? We got it, TOTAL bipartisan corruption.

Got a letter from the Georgia Republican party urging support for Senator Saxby Chambliss, in the 'no stamp necessary envelope', I included a brutal letter describing my disgust for his yes-vote on the initial bail out, and the 'dirt road' our party has taken.
Although small, a group of fellow Georgians and I, have begun a search committee to find a 'real conservitive' to challenge Chambliss......It's a shame the 'good ones' decide the BS isn't worth it......Hard to disagree......

The interesting thing to me is that the Government seems more than a little disconnected from the fact that IT'S OUR MONEY! The first package had no to little impact, now why would one think that a second package - much bigger - will work? None of us feel comfortable spending or should feel uncomfortable spending on large items in this environment - therefore, will the fact that the government is basically giving away another trillion dollar change anyone's mind? Keep in mind, a tax increase may be the only way to pay for this charity.
