To add to that input, go to http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/..._strategy.html

It's long, but worth reading - we are all simply trying to make a living or live on what we've made in life - we are being screwed by politicians who have an entirely different America in mind. An America that we will not recognize in just a few years.

At the end of the article....

Barack Obama, the Cloward-Piven candidate, no matter how he describes himself, has been a radical activist for most of his political career. That activism has been in support of organizations and initiatives that at their heart seek to tear the pillars of this nation asunder in order to replace them with their demented socialist vision. Their influence has spread so far and so wide that despite their blatant culpability in the current financial crisis, they are able to manipulate Capital Hill politicians to cut them into $140 billion of the bailout pie!

God grant those few responsible yet remaining in Washington, DC the strength to prevent this massive fraud from occurring. God grant them the courage to stand up in the face of this Marxist tidal wave.

It's posted by Jim Simpson, a former White House staff economist and budget analyst.

Sorry, but that strategy (elimination of all welfare) would result in the following:

1) All right wing voters would rejoice. Rush Limbaugh and Hannity would have orgasms on prime time TV shows.
2) 25% of all welfare recipients would get a job
3) 25% of all welfare recipients would get arrested for robbery
4) 50% of all welfare recipients would ***** and moan, but they would just get-by with some help from local charities, churches or illegal activities without getting arrested.

Ultimate ending ... drastically reduced gov't spending with a relatively small increase in the prison system.

Well whatever happens is going to happen now as it is to far gone to correct. I just wonder what will happen when the uneducated masses wake up to the fact that their Messiah isn't in there for their benefit, he is only interested in his own Ascension. I think I would rather resort to crime than take anything from that bunch of crooks as it is the same.

CDC, I can only hope you are correct that this will be an America you will not recognize in a few years! You used the word Marxist, I'm not sure that would even come close to a description of what's happening, but you seem to throughout a lot of inept descriptions of our society. I would though to a point agree with socialism as a description but only in part, it's more like social democratic, and we have taken over and you and your kind will be relegated to something more along the lines of the libertarian party or maybe the green party, either one of those will be more significant than the republicans will be.
Of course all a libertarian is, is a republican that wants to smoke pot and have sex, maybe that’s why I like them more Ha!

Don’t make me break out my Flying Monkeys, Cobra Bull!

There are only two reasons to be a leftist. Either you think you're smarter and more noble than everyone else and, thus, should make the benevolent rules for the masses to follow; or you think you're a powerless victim in need of a benevolent all powerful champion to save you from the excesses of capitalism.

You seem to be a little of both, Cobra Bull - plus extraordinarily discommodious. Go away, please.

Reload...not the gun (though that is kinda fun too) but ammo. After seeing .223 and .308 go from easy to locate to darn near impossible to find at a reasonable cost, I invested in a simple reloader. Guess what, it's easy and now that I bought the die set for my .45...I find I'm shooting more and spending a fraction of the cost of factory ammo with better accuracy. Also, you can sit in the garage for an hour or three, listen to the radio (or I have a TV set up), and kill two birds with one stone (avoid the wife and save money). Just an idea from someone who swore he'd never reload and who now loves it.

And the best part...Obama is going to have a hell of a time taxing it, taking it or doing a damn thing about it.

All gun powder sales will be regulated and stopped. You had best find yourself the ingredients to make it before they can get that bill into law. And just to piss them off, use LEAD for your bullets.
I just got home from the range where I went to shoot and it was the fullest I have ever seen it. They are also now running short of147 grain ammo. Six men looking at guns. At least one business around here is doing well. I got an Obama target that I made and took over. Shot the best I have in years.
